For me my HTPC had to be able to do one thing, and one thing only: Be easily controllable by my computer-impatient girlfriend!

This means it needs to be able to play TV (DVB-C HD), Music, Photo's, Video's, DVD, Blu-ray, and all from within MediaCenter and all with just one remote.

This would not have been possible without DVBLink. Mediacenter can't handle my cable provider DVB-C signal, so I had to use DVBViewer and fortunately found DVBLink.

The product is fully stable, my girlfriend doesn't even know what it is and she doesn't need to care. It just works. It's easy to install, extremely flexible and offers everything one needs for TV throughput from any supported source.

My HTPC now runs perfectly on Vista7 RC7100, with DVBViewer 4.1.0 processing the Dutch Ziggo DVB-C signals, and DVBLink passing it through. I've had no crashes, no missed TV recordings, no hiccups. It just works!

I'm using DVBLink for Dreambox 1.0.1 with my DM800HD (PLi Image). My HTPC is Windows 7rc based, Intel Core Duo system with 3GM of RAM, 1,5TG of HDD, Internet connected. The case is Zalman HD160XT. Graphics nVidia GForce 6800 passive cooling. I have two display systems Sony Bravia 40" LCD and Epson projector plus electrically rolled up/down screen. I have also Pioneer amplifier plus Wharfedale loudspeakers. Every thing is controlled with one Logitech Harmony 525 universal remote. On the HTPC I have set of software to support remote control: Daniel Rolf's D-HD160XT-C Zalman IR/Fan control replacement, Promixis Girder for Remote programming, MST by Herman van Eijk, PowerStrip (for Epson resolution setup).

I have 3+ year experience with MCE based systems. Now with stability of Dreambox as a satellite signal source plus power of DVBLink my system is very close to my "Dream HTPC". I'm customer of DVBLogic form beginning. Current product is absolutely amazing. Work very stable, in fact is fully transparent to end user.

I use DVBLink for Dreambox 1.0.1 together with my Dreambox DM500S.
Dreambox is connected to a satellite dish with 4 LNBs for Astra, Hotbird, Sirius and Amos 2. I have a Dutch CanalDigitaal subscription card that I happily use with my dreambox.
Dreambox is running Pli Jade. MediaCenter PC is running Windows Vista with TV Pack. I also use Linksys DMA2200 extender to watch DVBLink satellite channels in bedroom.
I find dreambox an excellent tuner and its open-source based software provides all things that I need to get my satellite channels. However the user interface and remote control of DM500S are just terrible. They are very inconvenient to use.
Now with DVBLink for Dreambox I get all my satellite channels now in a nice and easy-to-control MediaCenter interface. Also for me the the greatest acceptance factor is that my wife and my children can now easily operate the whole setup without pleading me for help every day
I get EPG data for most of my channels from Microsoft Guide and for some of the channels (mainly russian and ukrainian) I use Guide a la Carte xmltv proggram listings.
As a bottom line I think that DVBLink for Dreambox is a great uplift for my dreambox, that turned it into a real MediaCenter.
